College Catering is a large food service operation producing over 8500 meals per day to elevate the student experience. We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and chefs in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals. This role is based at the Cumberland College campus and requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. About the role | Mō te mahi As Senior Chef, you will be responsible for: • Leading a team of cooks and chefs in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals • Developing and implementing menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements • Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery • Providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors • Managing budgets and inventory effectively • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall student experience.
