Senior Care Assistant - Care Home

*Level 3 will be required for this role* ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in a specific area, such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. Like everyone here, you'll be expected to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO DO: * Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants to deliver high-quality care and support to our residents. * Support the clinical team in specific areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews. * Work closely with the Deputy General Manager to ensure that the home is running smoothly and efficiently. * Be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances, just like everyone else here. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING: * A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field. * Experience of working in a care setting, preferably with older adults. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances. * A passion for delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.
