This is what you can expect:

  • Development of competitive system architectures for automotive camera systems in collaboration with international development teams.

  • Analysis of RFI/RFQ requirements and derivation of technical key criteria for customer-specific solutions.

  • Creation and coordination of technical architecture concepts to meet OEM requirements.

  • Evaluation of technical designs regarding feasibility, quality, and competitiveness.

  • Presentation of technical concepts to customers and coordination of technical deviations with OEMs.

  • Support in technology evaluations, feasibility analyses, and processing of customer inquiries.

  • Observation of camera technologies, market trends, and developments in sensors, optics, ISPs, and SerDes.



To be successful in this role, certain professional and personal requirements are helpful. The following requirements give you an overview of the experiences and properties that are beneficial for this position.

What you should bring:

  • At least five years of experience in developing automotive camera systems, for example, for ADAS or Driver Monitoring.

  • Master's degree in optics, physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.

  • In-depth knowledge of image sensors, objectives, SerDes, power supply, and camera modules and their interfaces.

  • Experience with image quality evaluation, reliability testing, camera calibration, and ISO 26262 in the ADAS environment.

  • Analytical, structured working style and interest in interdisciplinary technical challenges.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for technical content in word and writing.

  • Negotiation-proof English language skills, German language skills are advantageous, as well as travel readiness.
