Senior C++ Software Engineer, Cloud Apps (Embedded)

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development and deployment of our next-generation Robotaxi platform. Our team develops distributed applications that run on the vehicle's edge computer. As a Senior Engineer, you will architect and build the applications that establish a real-time Autonomous Vehicle-to-Cloud data pipeline, enabling critical services like fleet monitoring, remote vehicle control, and passenger safety systems. Beyond the core driving technology, we also work on developing advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving capabilities. Your responsibilities will include: • Designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining software applications for our Robotaxi platform. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless communication between different parts of the system. • Developing and refining algorithms for processing sensor data from cameras, lidars, and other sensors. • Troubleshooting and debugging complex software issues in collaboration with other engineers. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in autonomous driving technologies and adapting our software architecture accordingly. • Mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance on best practices for software development. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in developing software applications for embedded systems or cloud-based platforms. • Proficiency in C++ programming language and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. • Strong understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking fundamentals. • Experience with containerization using Docker and/or Kubernetes. • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud. • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in an iterative development environment. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
