Senior Buyer

The Senior Buyer is responsible for leading strategic and tactical procurement activities across Pele's projects, with a focus on EPC and O&M contracts. This role ensures the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods, works, and services, while managing supplier relationships, mitigating risks, and supporting internal governance and project delivery. Requirements EPC & O&M Strategy and Execution Lead EPC and O&M procurement strategy, managing interfaces with internal teams, externally with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, works, and services. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project goals and objectives. Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide procurement support to project teams, ensuring procurement activities are integrated into project plans and schedules. Develop and maintain procurement metrics and reports to measure performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure procurement activities are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Provide guidance and training to procurement team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
