(Senior) Business Development Manager, Chennai Overseas Centre (1 Year Contract)

Enterprise Singapore (“EnterpriseSG”) is an agency under Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry. Our mandate is to grow Singapore’s economy through building enterprise capabilities in innovation and technology, and internationalisation. We help Singaporean companies access global market opportunities, collaborate with technology partners, and promote Singapore as a global trading hub. EnterpriseSG has thirty-six Overseas Centres globally, with three in the South Asia region in India: Chennai, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. The Chennai Overseas Centre is one of our key hubs for promoting Singapore’s trade and investment interests in the region. As (Senior) Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to identify and pursue business opportunities that align with EnterpriseSG’s strategic objectives. This includes developing partnerships with local businesses, government agencies, and other stakeholders to promote Singapore as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. You will also work closely with our colleagues in Singapore to develop and implement strategies for promoting Singapore’s trade and investment interests in the region. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Indian business landscape, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. This is a one-year contract position.
