Job description
LHH For one of the most important European players in the B2B exhibition and event landscape, we are looking for a Senior Business Developer & M&A Strategy who will be responsible for designing, evaluating, and developing new growth initiatives - both organic and inorganic - contributing to the strategic positioning of the Entity at the national and international level. This person will be a reference point in defining expansion strategies, managing M&A processes, and consolidating institutional and commercial relationships that open up new doors and new markets. Responsibilities M&A Corporate and Product - Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging sectors to identify development opportunities. - Evaluate potential acquisitions, exhibition products, and companies, working closely with legal and financial functions. - Plan, guide, and monitor Due Diligence and Post Merger Integration initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and processes. - Support the General Manager in defining inorganic growth strategies and building business cases. - Business Development and Commercial Activities - Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders: institutions, category associations, international partners, exhibition organizers. - Participate in events, working tables, and institutional missions to promote the brand and company initiatives. - Identify new commercial development areas and geographies to be covered, connecting markets and opportunities. Your Profile - Consolidated experience in M&A, business development, or strategic marketing, ideally with international exposure. - Excellent knowledge of the exhibition sector and its competitive dynamics. - Strong analytical skills, strategic vision, and entrepreneurial mindset. - Authoritative relational skills, negotiation capabilities, and ability to move in complex ecosystems. - Orientation towards results, pragmatism, and ability to translate a strategy into concrete action.
