Senior Business Controller Production (m/f/d)

Do you want to not only analyze numbers but also have a real impact on production, projects, and decisions? At Swissbit, you will work closely with Operations, Project Management, and Finance, actively shaping processes, reporting, and systems – in an international high-tech environment.

As a Production Controller, you are the central interface between Production, Project Management, and Finance. You will support the steering of projects and production processes, analyze key figures, and help make sound decisions. You will actively contribute to the further development of our system landscape and help to increase transparency and efficiency.

• Analysis and preparation of production and project data as well as derivation of recommendations for action
• Close collaboration with Production Management and Project Managers as a sparring partner in controlling
• Tracking of budgets, costs, and project progress, including variance analyses
• Support in product cost calculation as well as in budget and forecast processes
• Identification of optimization potential in production and project processes and active participation in their implementation
• Participation in the further development of our reporting as well as in the SAP S/4HANA environment
• Coordination with internal interfaces such as Production, Project Management, and Finance

• Several years of experience in production controlling within a manufacturing company (e.g., production, plant, manufacturing, or operations controlling) with a sound understanding of production key figures, cost structures, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in the analysis of production and project data, conducting variance analyses, as well as sparring with Production Management, Project Management, and Finance to derive well-founded recommendations for action.
• Practical experience in product costing, material, and order costing as well as in budget, forecast, and cost control processes.
• Very good knowledge of SAP (ideally S/4HANA) and Excel; experience with Power BI or reporting tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, a structured and independent way of working, and the ability to identify and implement optimization potential in production and project processes.
• Fluent German language skills (C1/C2 level) are mandatory, as the role requires close collaboration with German-speaking specialists and managers; additionally, good English language skills.
