Your Day‑to‑Day Impact:
- Taking full ownership of our Africa region’s financial operations — accuracy, compliance, and insight are your trademarks.
- Building budgets and forecasts that don’t just tick boxes but drive smarter business decisions.
- Partnering with operations, procurement, and project teams to protect margins and uncover efficiencies.
- Managing intercompany invoicing, transfer pricing, and tax compliance with confidence.
- Spotting opportunities to streamline processes and make reporting sharper, faster, and more useful.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a finance team that’s as invested in the numbers as you are.
- Keeping a close eye on KPIs, cost drivers, liquidity, and working capital so we can act, not react.
- Steering us smoothly through audits and maintaining strong ties with external accountants.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A bachelor’s in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CA(SA) is a big plus).
- 10+ years in corporate finance within a multinational environment, with at least 5 years in oil & gas.
- A proven ability to turn financial data into strategic action.
- Strong ERP skills (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel/Power BI wizardry.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Leadership that inspires trust, collaboration, and high performance.
- Integrity, diplomacy, and the ability to influence without bulldozing.
- Have worked in Angola or speak Portuguese.
- Can navigate multiple financial systems (Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks, Xero).
- Have a track record of making processes leaner and smarter.
