Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner to join our team, working at the intersection of regulatory reporting, operations data and product management while owning a backlog of features and data enhancements. This role combines hands-on business analysis with end-to-end product ownership, close collaboration with business stakeholders and coordination of a cross-functional delivery team.

Please note that working from the office 3 days per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a hybrid Business Analyst / Product Owner for regulatory data and dashboarding solutions
• Own and manage the product backlog including epics and user stories while maintaining clear priorities
• Gather, analyze and document requirements in close collaboration with Operations, Compliance, Finance and IT stakeholders
• Profile large datasets such as trades, positions, accounts, counterparties and instruments to investigate data quality issues and validate solutions
• Design and maintain referential/static data models for regulatory reporting including instruments, counterparties, accounts, legal entities and classifications, along with mappings and data lineage
• Coordinate stakeholder management to align expectations, manage scope and communicate risks, dependencies and decisions proactively
• Support content and context switching across multiple regulators, regions and initiatives while maintaining clarity on priorities
• Define acceptance criteria and support testing by working with QA to ensure test coverage
• Perform functional and data validation using SQL and BI tools then sign off on completed user stories and releases
• Contribute to roadmap planning for ODW and related Market Regulation products to balance regulatory commitments, technical debt reduction and new business capabilities

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner (5+ years) in banking or capital markets, ideally in post-trade, operations or regulatory reporting
• Proficiency in SQL including complex queries with joins, aggregations and filters
• Capability to work directly on large tables in data warehouse environments to analyze issues and validate solutions
• Understanding of banking and capital markets data
• Background in regulatory or risk/finance reporting within an investment bank or similar environment such as trade/transaction reporting or operations data used for compliance and controls
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
