For a long-term project at our client in Zurich (remote portion only possible within Switzerland), we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) - Payment Transactions.

Your Responsibilities

• Capture, analyze, conceptualize, and document functional requirements for a business continuity solution in payment transactions, as well as develop implementation concepts

• Specify and elaborate functional and technical requirements into Epics, Features, and Stories so that they serve as a basis for implementation by internal IT teams and software suppliers

• Accompany change requests end-to-end from their inception to successful introduction

• Coordinate and synchronize functional and technical requirements as well as processes with business units, IT teams, external partners, Business Continuity Management, and other project stakeholders

• Reconcile and define functional interface requirements and data flows between existing systems, data adapters, and the software supplier

• Ensure that the business continuity solution meets regulatory requirements, adequately supports business processes, and is integrated into the core banking system

• Conduct acceptance tests for functional requirements and transfer the results into the final documentation and training materials



Must-Have Requirements

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Administration, or Business Informatics

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a banking environment

• Knowledge in payment transactions, especially the ISO 20022 standard as well as CAMT and MX messages

• Expertise in Confluence and JIRA

• Highly proficient in requirements analysis, process modeling, and the creation of functional concepts

• Experience in specifying functional and technical requirements, including interface requirements, functional data models, and non-functional requirements

• Good understanding of IT systems and their integration

• Strong communication and coordination skills, especially in aligning requirements with various stakeholders, project management, and other teams

• Knowledge of agile methods and frameworks such as SAFe or Scrum, as well as experience in leading or participating in complex projects

• High level of personal responsibility, flexibility, entrepreneurial thinking and acting, convincing and confident demeanor, strong service orientation, assertiveness, willingness to learn, and teamwork skills

• Open personality with a quick grasp

• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken



Nice-to-Have Requirements

• IREB or ITIL certification

• Knowledge of BCM processes, ideally in procedures like MiniSIC

• Experience in complex projects, ideally in digital transformation or emergency management
