For a long-term project with our client in Bern (with remote share), we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) - Sales Master Data & Processes.

Your Tasks

• Analysis, collection, and documentation of the existing sales master data landscape, sales processes, and system landscape

• Derivation of target states and future processes with a focus on customer and contract management, offer catalog management, and reference data management, while also considering complexity reduction, automation potential, and future flexibility

• Identification, consolidation, and documentation of requirements in close coordination with relevant stakeholders

• Support in the identification, evaluation, selection, and implementation of sustainable solutions and processes, including supporting tenders and proof-of-concepts

• Close collaboration and continuous exchange with sales, business, and IT departments, as well as coordination with parallel initiatives and projects

• Development of well-founded decision-making bases, including business cases, effort estimations, and risk analyses

• Preparation and moderation of workshops, creation of professional presentation materials, and presentation of results at management level

• Contribution of a market perspective on current trends and best practices in customer and contract management



Must-Have Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience at senior expert level and in-depth experience as a Business Analyst in complex projects in the banking sector or comparable industries

• Deep understanding of sales processes, master data management, and the specific requirements in customer and contract management

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills for developing target states, concepts, and business cases

• Ability to process, consolidate, and communicate complex issues understandably, and to develop viable, coordinated, and sustainable solutions

• Solid understanding of modern technologies, data structures, and IT systems, as well as experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary and agile teams

• Experience in projects with demanding interfaces and high complexity

• Expertise in UML modeling and BPMN, as well as in process management concepts

• Solid skills in Excel and PowerPoint

• Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms

• Very good German language skills at C2 level and English language skills at B1 level (Intermediate/PET)



Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on sales master data and sales processes

• Knowledge of current market trends, technologies, and best practices in customer and contract management

• Practical experience with AI tools in the context of business analysis or project implementation
