(Senior) Financial Accountant (m/w/d)

Your Tasks

As a (Senior) Financial Accountant, you are a pillar of our Financial Administration-Team. You not only manage existing numbers but actively shape our financial processes. At Ergosign, you will quickly take on responsibility for your areas, bring in your own ideas to optimize our workflows, and continuously develop yourself through individual training opportunities.

Typical tasks include:

• Financial accounting & operational daily business: Self-responsible recording and booking of all ongoing business transactions (creditors, debtors, banks, and asset accounts) as well as the review and documentation of supporting documents in SAP Business ByDesign.
• Payment processing & Treasury: Processing payment flows, handling payment schedules, and controlling release lists.
• Invoicing & account clarification: Creating creditor invoices in SAP Business ByDesign as well as systematic alignment and maintenance of asset and personnel accounts.
• Reporting & analysis: Supporting the conception and creation of financial evaluations and reports (SAP/Excel) as a solid basis for management decisions.
• Process optimization: You question existing workflows and actively contribute to the digitalization and optimization of our administrative processes.
• Interface function: Professional internal and external correspondence with colleagues, suppliers, and partners.

Your Skills

• Fundamental basis: A successfully completed vocational training (e.g. tax clerk or industrial clerk) – ideally with further education to financial accountant or balance sheet accountant – or an economics degree.
• Professional experience: 2-5 years of relevant practical experience in financial accounting.
• System knowledge: Secure handling of SAP (or a comparable ERP system) as well as solid MS Office skills.
• Work style: A high level of reliability, numerical affinity, and a structured and self-reliant work style.
• Team spirit & communication: You understand yourself as a team player with an open-minded and communicative personality.
• Linguistic competence: Fluent German language skills (C1/C2) as well as good English language skills for international communication.
