Senior Accountant (m/w/d) with Project Responsibility

in full-time (part-time possible from 30 hours/week)

Tasks

• Concept, optimization, and implementation of internal accounting and financial processes
• Deputy leadership of the Finance Team
• Processing projects in the finance sector, e.g. international business expansion
• Independent processing of ongoing accounting
• Responsibility for internal and external accounting, including operational processing
• Preliminary preparation and creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Creation of budget and liquidity plans
• Collaboration with national and international partners in payment transactions
• Preliminary preparation and accompaniment of business audits

Qualification

• Degree in accounting, ideally as a tax accountant or financial accountant
• Alternatively: degree with focus on taxes, controlling, and/or accounting
• Multiple years of experience in the field of accounting/finance
• Excellent organizational and team skills, service-oriented, and very good communication skills
• High level of initiative, diligence, and sense of responsibility
• Understanding of complex issues and openness to changes and new topics
• Good knowledge in handling ERP systems, accounting software (e.g. DATEV), and Excel
• Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking
