Bridge Engineer Te whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a technically strong Bridge Engineer to join our Civil Structures team, working on a diverse portfolio of complex bridge and transport infrastructure projects across Aotearoa. You’ll contribute to the design, assessment, and strengthening of bridge structures, taking ownership of defined technical work packages and applying sound engineering judgement to projects of moderate complexity. You’ll work closely with colleagues to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality results. Key responsibilities: • Design, assess, and strengthen bridge structures using industry-standard software and tools. • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders. • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in bridge engineering and infrastructure design.
