Senior Fire Protection Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Role

• Fire protection planning and product development for timber buildings of building classes 4 and 5
• Implementation of state-of-the-art solutions into our residential building product
• Regular and controlled further development of the product within the scope of series and change management
• Coordination with planning disciplines such as architecture, engineering, MEP, building physics, acoustics, and energy planning
• Contribution to the improvement of short- and long-term certification strategies for our construction product
• Design and coordination of physical tests in the GROPYUS prototyping center at our plant and with external testing institutes
• Communication with external consultants, authorities, and institutes
• Participation in the further development of fire protection regulations in Germany through various GROPYUS engagements

About You

Required

• Experience in the construction industry and project experience in the LP5+ project phase in Germany and/or Austria
• Knowledge of relevant standards and legal texts in Germany and/or Austria
• Experience in creating fire protection concepts
• Fluent German language skills in speaking and writing

Advantageous

• Experience in residential construction of building classes 4 and/or 5
• Experience in timber construction
• Experience in product certification
• Experience in Rhino or Revit a plus, alternatively AutoCAD
• Fluent English language skills in speaking and writing
