Redstone Commodity Search are working a global conglomerate looking to hire a Senior Biomass Trader to join its Singapore office. This is a senior commercial role with full PnL responsibility for the biomass desk, requiring strong relationships with key clients and counterparties. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing trading strategies, managing risk and ensuring profitable growth of the biomass portfolio. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing trading strategies to achieve business objectives; • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and counterparties; • Managing risk and ensuring profitable growth of the biomass portfolio; • Collaborating with other teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement; • Providing market insights and analysis to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as agriculture, biology or environmental science, and at least 5 years of experience in the biomass industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in other languages an advantage.
