Senior Big Data Engineer

We’re looking for a highly technical, independent, and visionary Big Data Engineer to take ownership of our next-generation distributed training pipelines and infrastructure. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in the core of our algorithmic decision-making systems - shaping how models are trained and deployed at a scale across billions of data points in real-time AdTech environments. You’ll be responsible for designing and building scalable ML systems from the ground up from data ingestion to model deployment, ensuring seamless integration with our existing data warehousing and analytics infrastructure. You will be working closely with our data scientists, data engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain our data pipelines, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong expertise in distributed computing, data processing, and machine learning, as well as experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in big data and AI, and to apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data engineering practices. In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will also be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
