We are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) for a project in the area of Disaster Recovery Management (DRM) at a large German transmission network operator. In this role, you will support the introduction of a binding DRM methodology and operational activity within the IT infrastructure under consideration of KRITIS and ISO standards.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Elaboration of a common understanding of the objectives, scope, and expected results of the DRM project

• Analysis of the framework conditions of internal management systems and processes

• Conducting a gap analysis of existing structures and processes compared to regulatory requirements such as ITIL, ISO 27001, KRITIS, and ISO 22301

• Professional conception and development of a DRM methodology, including the creation of a corresponding guideline

• Proposal for processual anchoring of a disaster recovery process in the existing process architecture under consideration of relevant interfaces

• Elaboration of a suitable template for a disaster recovery plan (DRP) based on specific requirements

• Creation of a communication concept for raising awareness about DRM and increasing awareness within IT

• Consulting and training of IT application responsible persons regarding the DRM methodology and use of the DRP

• Exchange of experiences and best practices in the area of Disaster Recovery Management

• Support for application responsible persons in defining application-specific disaster recovery plans

• Consulting on the creation and definition of DR test and exercise plans for critical systems

• Systematic documentation of all work results and derivation of recommendations for continuous optimization

• Derivation of lessons learned as a basis for further cross-sectional projects in IT

Muss-Anforderungen

• In-depth knowledge of the standards ITIL, ISO 27001, KRITIS (IT-Grundschutz BSI 200-4), and ISO 22301

• Demonstrable experience in developing, introducing, and validating disaster recovery management methods, guidelines, and plans

• Funded knowledge in the area of Business Continuity Management (BCM), particularly in the context of Corporate Security, IT Service Continuity, and IT Security

• Demonstrable practical experience in the environment of critical infrastructure (KRITIS)

• Ability to manage interfaces and complex projects in a regulated environment

• Secure handling of collaboration tools like Confluence and Sharepoint

• Ability to develop and conceptualize problem-solving approaches independently

Kann-Anforderungen

• References from comparable projects, preferably in companies of the energy sector or operators of critical infrastructure

• Energy industry knowledge

• Experience in the environment of internal control systems (IKS)

• Funded knowledge in project and process management

The project location is Berlin with a remote share of 90% and an on-site share of 10%.
