(Senior) Hospital Consultant (m/w/d) Negotiation Specialist in Dortmund

The Krankenhauszweckverband Westfalen e.V. represents the interests of over 60 hospitals from North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony against politics and health insurance companies. The task of KHZW e.V. is to accompany member hospitals during wage negotiations, provide advice on fundamental issues, promote the exchange of experiences or information, and thus contribute to their economic security. In the member hospitals, approximately 1.5 million patients are currently being treated by over 20,000 employees. As a (Senior) Berater Krankenhaus (m/w/d) Verhandlungsspezialist in Dortmund, you will be responsible for supporting our member hospitals in their wage negotiations and providing expert advice on fundamental issues. Your tasks will include: • Accompanying the member hospitals during wage negotiations and providing support in the preparation of negotiation materials; • Providing expert advice on fundamental issues related to hospital operations, such as personnel management, financial planning, and quality management; • Facilitating the exchange of experiences and information between member hospitals and promoting best practices; • Identifying and addressing potential risks and challenges for our member hospitals; • Developing and implementing strategies to improve the economic security of our member hospitals. Requirements: • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, law, medicine); • Several years of experience in hospital management or a related field; • Excellent communication and negotiation skills; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); • Familiarity with hospital operations and the healthcare sector is an advantage.
