Senior Beleidsadviseur

For Werkzaak Rivierenland we are looking for a Senior Beleidsadviseur. As senior policy advisor in the field of work and income, you will work together with colleagues from the cluster Policy, objection and appeal to develop current, forward-thinking, and understandable policy that aligns with the vision of Werkzaak. You will develop this policy together with implementation, based on input from residents, behavioral science, and examples from other municipalities. You will monitor quality, goals, course, planning, and good cooperation. Within Werkzaak, a course has already been set, but there is room for your own vision.

Your responsibilities include:

• Intensively guiding, coaching, and supporting policy staff within the current Policy team, with specific attention to their professional development, expertise, and independence.
• Aligning with the team manager on the deployment of the cluster and the development of employees. You will coach and guide your colleagues within the cluster.
• Informing, consulting, and advising seniors and team managers in implementation, the client council, policy advisors from municipalities, the management team, and the board.
• Positioning yourself as a hub in the organization to stay informed about what's happening and connect dots. Together with the strategic advisor, secretary of the board, and LEAN advisors, you will contribute to major organizational developments, such as optimizing service delivery and strengthening integral and methodical work.
