About the Role
- Prepare financial statements, tax returns, GST and compliance for a varied client portfolio
- Enjoy client contact building strong relationships
- Deliver advisory solutions spanning board governance, risk management, and strategic business direction
- Transform routine year-end processes into strategic growth opportunities for clients
- At least 4+ years’ BAS experience within a New Zealand CA firm
- Understand unique client challenges and decisively guide them toward smart solutions
- Deliver accurate financial reporting, management accounts, and tax compliance (GST, FBT, payroll)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience with Xero is advantageous
- CA qualification is preferred
- Enjoy true work-life balance with flexible hours and WFH days
- Work side-by-side with Directors, giving you strong visibility into firm leadership and high-level strategic advisory
- Take total ownership of your work—proactively solving problems, driving client solutions, and challenging the status quo
- Join a down-to-earth, supportive team with a dynamic "can-do" approach and a strong focus on team success
- 10+ years of experience in the Professional Services sector
