About the Role
- Review financial statements, tax returns, GST, FBT, and core compliance deliverables for a broad client portfolio
- Prepare specialised reporting including FIFs, PIEs, IFRS and Special Purpose reporting
- Lead advisory projects, delivering monthly management accounts, structuring and tax forecasting
- Serve as primary client contact, building direct and trusted relationships
- Mentor and coach junior accountants to build capability, share technical knowledge, and maintain high standards
- At least 4+ years of experience within a New Zealand CA firm
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Actively studying towards your CA qualification if not gained already
- Driven by work quality and ready for a role that offers true autonomy backed by approachable leaders
- Demonstrated skill in managing complex compliances
