About the Role
As a Senior BAS Accountant, you’ll be hands-on with clients, working on a mix of compliance and advisory projects. You’ll be trusted to get on with the job and supported to keep developing your technical and leadership skills. Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing financial statements under NZ IFRS
- Monthly reporting, tax returns, and system support
- Building relationships with clients and offering practical advice
- Helping mentor and guide junior team members
- Getting stuck into technical projects when they come up
- CA qualified (or nearly there)
- At least 3 years’ experience in a NZ CA firm with experience with IFRS
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Confident working with clients and building relationships
- Enjoys working as part of a team and bringing others along for the ride
- Curious, proactive, and keen to keep learning
- Hybrid working - enjoy awesome office views and the option to work from home a few days a week
