This large international CA firm has a strong reputation across New Zealand and globally. Based in Auckland CBD, their BAS team works with a wide range of clients, including public sector, not-for-profits, and privately owned businesses. They’re known for their down-to-earth culture, technical smarts, and commitment to growing their people.

About the Role
As a Senior BAS Accountant, you’ll be hands-on with clients, working on a mix of compliance and advisory projects. You’ll be trusted to get on with the job and supported to keep developing your technical and leadership skills. Your day-to-day will include:
  • Preparing financial statements, tax returns and all things compliance
  • Monthly reporting, managemen accounting and system support
  • Building relationships with clients and offering practical advice
  • Helping mentor and guide junior team members
  • Getting stuck into technical projects when they come up
About You
  • CA qualified (or nearly there)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a NZ CA firm with experience with IFRS
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Confident working with clients and building relationships
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and bringing others along for the ride
  • Curious, proactive, and keen to keep learning
