To strengthen the team, we are looking for a senior backend developer with a focus on Laravel for a central role in technical architecture as well as further development and optimization of the backend services of the Social Intranet platform.

Aufgaben

Your role ...

As a senior backend developer, you are responsible for developing and maintaining the central backend systems.

You will work closely with frontend developers, development engineers, and business stakeholders to provide scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

Your specific tasks ...

• Senior-Level Ownership over architecture & implementation
• Backend Development: Design, development, and optimization of scalable backend services with PHP (Laravel).
• Databasemanagement: Development, optimization, and maintenance of MySQL/MariaDB databases ensuring data integrity and performance.
• API Development & Integration: Creation of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party interfaces.
• : Implementation and maintenance of WebSockets for real-time notifications.
• System Architecture & Performance: Design scalable architectures, optimize database queries, and implement caching solutions.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Writing clean, maintainable code according to best practices and established design patterns.

Qualification

Your profile ...

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer with in-depth knowledge of PHP (Laravel-Framework).
• Experience with software architectures for high-traffic multi-user applications.
• Very good knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning of queries.
• Experience in implementing WebSockets for real-time applications.
• Fundamental knowledge of API development, authentication protocols, and best practices for web security.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Linguistic skills in German & English (the development leader is only English-speaking)
• You live within a radius that allows you to come to Nuremberg 1x/week, otherwise you can remote work
