Senior Backend Engineer (.net)

A little about us SPOTIO is a dynamic, fast-growing American start-up with a 10-year tradition of creating the 1 Sales Engagement Platform. SPOTIO's platform helps field sales teams manage sales activities, increase the productivity of sales representatives and record field sales insights. We have offices in Dallas, Texas and Gdańsk. In Gdańsk, there is a development, product and QA team totalling 21 people (50 people in total globally). How do we work? We focus on continuous development and improvement - both our product and our skills! We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Gdańsk-based team. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for our Sales Engagement Platform. * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, frontend, and QA. * Troubleshoot and resolve production issues. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. Skills and Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in backend development. * Strong proficiency in C# and .NET. * Experience with RESTful API design and development. * Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL). * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). * Experience with building scalable and high-performance applications. * Solid understanding of software design principles and best practices. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Fluent in English (written and spoken). Nice to have: * Experience with microservices architecture. * Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). * Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka). * Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
