Senior Backend Engineer .NET

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join a team developing advanced desktop applications for manufacturing and testing environments. This role is a good fit for someone who has strong experience with C#/.NET, enjoys solving complex technical problems. ✅ Your responsibilities: * Develop and maintain C# / .NET desktop applications for manufacturing and testing systems * Build GUI features using WPF / MVVM * Work with hardware integration, instrument control and automated test execution * Integrate with backend services and databases * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and QA testers * Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and development environments * Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews * Mentor junior engineers ✅ What you bring: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) * 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development * Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core / .NET 5+) * Extensive experience with WPF and the MVVM design pattern * Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming * Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Strong communication and collaboration abilities ✅ Bonus points: * Experience with industrial automation, SCADA systems, or PLC programming * Familiarity with real-time data processing * Experience with RESTful API design and development * Knowledge of unit testing and TDD * Experience with CI/CD pipelines ✅ What we offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a growing industry * Collaborative and supportive work environment * Professional development and training opportunities * Flexible work arrangements (remote/hybrid options available)
