Senior Backend Engineer

Position Summary We are looking for a talented Backend Developer (Node.js) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend services that power our next-generation gaming and sports betting platform. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend services using Node.js and microservices architecture. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements. • Develop and maintain APIs, data models, and business logic for our platform. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality. • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of our services. • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 support for our platform. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in developing scalable and robust backend services using Node.js. • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and its benefits. • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes. • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform. • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and data modeling. • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
