Senior Azure Engineer

Overview Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to lead the engineering, automation, and administration of our Azure cloud infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the scalability, security, and resilience of our cloud environment while supporting DevOps initiatives and modern infrastructure practices. Responsibilities Cloud Engineering & Automation Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Azure infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements. Develop and maintain Azure-based architectures, including but not limited to: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure Storage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications. Ensure compliance with security and governance policies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure infrastructure and services. Develop and maintain documentation for Azure infrastructure and services. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features, services, and best practices. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical cloud-based systems. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. At least 5-10 years of experience as an Azure Engineer. Strong understanding of Azure architecture, including but not limited to: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure Storage. Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git. Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
