For a long-term project with our client in Zurich (remote portion only possible within Switzerland), we are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) - GenAI.

Your Tasks

• Configure and manage Azure cloud resources, especially API Management, Foundry, OpenAI, AI Search, and Document Intelligence, as well as Kubernetes-based applications like Langfuse as Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform, Helm charts, and GitLab

• Automate build, test, and release processes for GenAI applications and LLMOps to enable reliable releases in development, test, and production environments

• Develop technical concepts for new requirements for the GenAI platform and contribute to its ongoing development and optimization; coordinate platform components, efforts, operations, and organizational and regulatory requirements

• Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms, for example with Grafana and Azure Dashboards, to ensure platform stability and efficiency

• Support client applications with conceptual questions, onboarding, and integrations, as well as operational issues

• Monitor system performance, availability, and logs to identify and resolve problems early

• Develop and further develop code-based solutions for authorization checks, logging and monitoring, routing logic, and guardrail validations using Java, Python, XML, and C# (APIM Policies)



Must-Have Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on GenAI, ideally in the banking sector

• In-depth knowledge of DevOps toolchains, especially Git, GitLab, Docker, and Terraform

• Deep understanding of Azure Cloud services, especially Azure API Management, AKS, Azure Functions, OpenAI, AI Search, Document Intelligence, Azure Foundry, and Storage Accounts

• Knowledge in DevOps monitoring, logging, and alerting, especially with Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor, to ensure high availability

• Open personality with a quick grasp of things

• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken



Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Project experience with GenAI technologies, ideally including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI, and optimization of GenAI solutions

• Ability to develop concepts and architectural solutions and represent them to IT Security and Domain Architecture

• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization procedures with Azure Entra ID, RBAC, and OAuth

• Knowledge in software development with Python and/or Java
