Senior Azure DevOps Architect (m/f/d)

Design and build an enterprise-grade, multi-tenant Azure DevOps platform, incorporating governance, security, and compliance requirementsDefine the ADO organization structure, operating model, and guardrails, and align these with engineering, security, compliance, and infrastructure stakeholdersImplement core platform components including repositories, pipelines, agent strategy, artifacts, RBAC, permissions, and reusable templatesDevelop standardized CI/CD blueprints and onboarding packages for scalable adoptionIntegrate security-by-design controls (SAST, SCA, secret scanning, DAST) with policies, enforcement models, and audit traceabilityCreate automation for provisioning, onboarding, and service connections, and define the migration strategy from assessment to pilot to phased rolloutExecute pilot migrations and end-to-end validations, refining platform patterns for broad-scale adoption Azure DevOps (ADO) – Expert-level knowledge of pipelines (YAML), repos, artifacts, agent pools, permissions, and enterprise governance designEnterprise Platform Architecture – Proven experience designing and building environments for large enterprise customersMulti-tenancy – Strong understanding of isolation models, RBAC boundaries, shared services, and audit requirementsSecurity & Compliance by Design – Ability to translate enterprise security requirements into platform guardrails and CI/CD governanceSDLC Security Understanding – Strong knowledge of integrating SAST, SCA, secret scanning, and DAST into CI/CD patterns and policy gatesAutomation / IaC Mindset – Strong capability to automate provisioning, onboarding, and standardization (templates, scripts, IaC)Migration Approaches – Experience defining and executing phased migration strategies with pilots, coexistence, and rollback planningDocumentation & Enablement – Produce clear architecture docs, onboarding guides, and reference implementations for teams A very renowned companyPossibilities to work remote IT is and always has been our core business that laid the foundation for Hays' success.
