Senior Azure Data Engineer with Databricks

We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Data Engineer to join a long-term, fully remote project for one of the world’s best Emirates airlines . In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and distributed systems in the Azure ecosystem, working closely with analysts and data scientists to deliver high-quality data solutions for a globally recognized aviation leader. Responsibilities Designing, building, and deploying at-scale infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data engineering solutions that meet business requirements. Developing and maintaining data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other tools. Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security through the implementation of data governance policies and procedures. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud-based data engineering. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Azure and Databricks. Strong understanding of cloud-based data engineering concepts, including data warehousing, ETL, and data visualization. Experience with Azure services such as Azure Storage, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL. Knowledge of data governance principles and practices. Certification in Azure Data Engineer or related field is a plus. Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package.
