We are looking for you to join our Cloud Computing & AI department at the Nuremberg location as soon as possible. Become part of think about IT and support us as a Senior Azure Cloud Platform Architect (m/f/d).

The activity can also be performed at our branches in Hamburg, Münster, Berlin, Mainz or Bochum.

Responsibilities

• You develop modern cloud platforms and create the technological basis for business applications and AI solutions. You will accompany our customers from the initial idea to successful operation
• Concept, development, and further development of future-proof cloud architectures based on Microsoft Azure, as well as consulting on the modernization of IT landscapes
• Design, setup, and operation of scalable platforms for container, Kubernetes, and AI workloads
• Automation of cloud infrastructures through the use of Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices
• Technical consulting and support of customers in workshops, projects, and strategic architectural and technology decisions
• Architectural responsibility for cloud solutions, considering scalability, security, and operational stability
• Collaboration with customers, business units, and project teams to develop and implement sustainable cloud strategies

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, a comparable vocational training, or several years of professional experience
• Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes
• Experience with various hypervisors and as-a-Service concepts
• Very good knowledge of Linux, Cloud Networking, and automation.
• Consulting skills and enthusiasm for modern cloud technologies
• Flexibility and service orientation
• Team player with enthusiasm for new things

Ideal Microsoft Certifications:

• AZ-305 – Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
• AZ-104 – Microsoft Azure Administrator
• AZ-400 – Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions
• AZ-500 – Microsoft Azure Security Technologies (desirable)
• AZ-700 – Designing and Implementing Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions (desirable)
