Senior Automation Tester/QA (Java) @ Scalo

Competencies required for service delivery:

• min. 6 years of experience in software testing, both manual and automated,
• very good knowledge of the Java language in the context of creating automated tests,
• good knowledge of software testing theory,
• very good knowledge of modern test automation frameworks and tools, such as: Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Allure,
• practical experience with TestRail tool,
• rich experience in various types of tests (from unit tests to end-to-end, functional and non-functional), integrated with CI/CD processes,
• knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles,
• experience working with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools such as: Jenkins, TeamCity, Kibana, Grafana,
• knowledge of API testing and REST architecture,
• knowledge of cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure),
• knowledge of modern system architectures (including microservices, Event-Driven Architecture),
• ability to communicate fluently in English.

Nice to have:

• experience working with SQL and relational databases,
• ability to write clean and maintainable code in various programming languages, such as: Java, Python, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript,
• experience working according to the BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) approach,
• experience in mobile application test automation,
• experience in using AI in the software development process (e.g., for code generation, refactoring, test automation, documentation creation, debugging, prototyping, making architectural decisions),
• practical knowledge of tools such as GitHub Copilot and Copilot Chat.
