Senior Automation & Applications Engineer P3

Key Responsibilities Lead the standardization, optimization, and redesign of error-proofing (Poka-Yoke) systems across cutting and sewing operations within Jaropamex manufacturing plants. Develop and implement vision-based inspection systems, including associated methodologies, standards, and work instructions, for both in-line and end-of-line sewing process verification. Partner with Manufacturing Engineering teams to standardize, optimize, and redesign sewing guides, fixtures, folders, templates, and other related tools and equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Develop and maintain technical documentation for all projects, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals. Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing personnel on the use of automated systems and processes. Identify and address potential risks and issues related to automation implementation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve processes and operations.
