About the Role
- Lead audits from planning through to completion across a varied portfolio, with a strong emphasis on not-for-profit and charitable clients
- Review audit files and maintain high technical standards across engagements
- Guide and mentor junior staff to build confidence and capability
- Develop trusted relationships with clients, providing clear, timely advice
- Play a role in continuous improvement of internal systems and processes
- You have 3+ years’ external audit experience in a New Zealand public practice firm
- You’re confident managing audit engagements from planning to completion
- You enjoy mentoring junior staff and contributing to a collaborative team environment
- You communicate well with clients and can provide clear, practical advice
- CA qualification would be advantageous, but not essential
- Experience with Audit Assistant and cloud-based tools is a plus
- Approachable, hands-on Partners who support your development
- Flexibility to work from home up to two days per week once settled
- Career progression with regular check-ins and clear next steps

- 15+ years of experience in the Professional Services sector
