About the Role
You’ll take ownership of audit engagements and help guide juniors while working closely with clients across a diverse portfolio. This role blends technical challenge with people engagement and gives you space to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities include:
  • Delivering high-quality audits in line with NZ auditing standards
  • Reviewing financial statements and handling technical matters with confidence
  • Managing and strengthening client relationships across multiple sectors
  • Coaching junior team members and supporting their development
  • Planning, executing, and finalising audit engagements with autonomy
About You:
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • At least 3 years of external audit experience in a New Zealand CA firm
  • Experience with CaseWare
  • Comfortable leading engagements and managing client relationships
  • Enjoy mentoring junior staff and fostering a team culture
  • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
