About the Role
You’ll take ownership of audit engagements and help guide juniors while working closely with clients across a diverse portfolio. This role blends technical challenge with people engagement and gives you space to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality audits in line with NZ auditing standards
- Reviewing financial statements and handling technical matters with confidence
- Managing and strengthening client relationships across multiple sectors
- Coaching junior team members and supporting their development
- Planning, executing, and finalising audit engagements with autonomy
- CA or CPA qualified
- At least 3 years of external audit experience in a New Zealand CA firm
- Experience with CaseWare
- Comfortable leading engagements and managing client relationships
- Enjoy mentoring junior staff and fostering a team culture
- Excellent communication skills—written and verbal
