Senior Associate - Internal Legal Counsel

Location: Warsaw

Your responsibilities

• comprehensive legal support for the business in the area of concluding and executing agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in the scope of advisory services, new technologies, IT implementations, AI, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and outsourcing
• analysis of deviations from standard agreements and recommendation of solutions to limit legal and regulatory risks
• ongoing legal advice for Advisory teams regarding ongoing projects and business initiatives
• preparation of legal opinions, analyses, and recommendations, particularly in the scope of civil law, commercial law, new technologies law, and labor law,
• development and updating of standard agreements, regulations, procedures, and other internal documents
• conducting training and workshops for the business on risk management in client relations
• participation in court disputes, administrative proceedings, and contacts with public administration bodies

Our requirements

• higher education in law; bar or advocate qualification, or undergoing professional legal training
• at least 5 years of experience gained in the legal department of a large organization or law firm, with at least 3 years in an in-house role
• very good knowledge of civil law, commercial law, and labor law
• practice in preparing, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
• ability to identify and assess legal risks, as well as formulate practical business recommendations
• experience in drafting legal opinions and conducting or supporting court disputes
• very good knowledge of English
• experience in the area of new technologies, cybersecurity, AI, or IT projects is a plus
• ability to cooperate effectively with the business and translate legal issues into practical solutions

We prepare and analyze agreements, as well as create procedures and regulations supporting the organization's operations. We carry out activities related to the analysis of legal risks, regulatory advisory, and the areas of compliance, corporate law, and labor law.
