Senior Associate | Corporate Transactions

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Corporate Transactions team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and support to our clients, as well as contributing to the development of our business and practice. Key responsibilities will include: • Providing legal advice and support to clients on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, and restructurings; • Conducting legal research and analysis to support the development of our business and practice; • Collaborating with other lawyers and professionals to deliver high-quality legal services to clients; • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders; • Contributing to the development of our business and practice through innovation, creativity and strategic thinking; • Participating in business development activities, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities; • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and transactions; • Complying with all relevant laws, regulations and policies, including those related to confidentiality, conflicts of interest and professional conduct. • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; • Admitted to the bar in New Zealand or Australia; • At least 5 years of experience in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings, and restructurings; • Strong understanding of corporate law and regulations; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records; • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information; • Strong understanding of the commercial legal services industry and the needs of our clients. • We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including: • A base salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum; • A bonus scheme that rewards high-performing lawyers; • A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life insurance, and income protection insurance; • Professional development opportunities, including training and mentorship programs; • A flexible working environment, including the option to work from home; • Access to our state-of-the-art technology and systems; • A dynamic and supportive work environment with a team of experienced lawyers and professionals.
