The Role
Based in Auckland, you will work closely with senior leaders and be trusted with responsibility across major litigation matters. You will:
- Manage a portfolio of civil and class action files from initiation to resolution
- Draft pleadings, submissions, and oversee discovery and evidence preparation
- Contribute to strategy discussions, liaise with experts and counsel, and engage with litigation funders
- Mentor junior lawyers and support their development through active supervision
You will bring strong technical ability, commercial awareness, and a collaborative approach. Ideally, you will have:
- 5-8 years PQE in civil or commercial litigation, ideally with complex disputes exposure
- Proven experience managing files and clients with minimal supervision
- An interest in class actions and the drive to contribute to high-value litigation
