About the role

Our client seeks an experienced Senior Associate to join their property team. In this role you will play a key role in providing legal advice on a wide range of residential and commercial property matters.

You will work across a broad range of property matters, encompassing residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial leasing and developments, as well as subdivisions and unit title matters. The role also involves undertaking due diligence and advising on complex property transactions. You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own files and clients, while working collaboratively with experienced partners and contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm’s property practice.

What we’re looking for

• An experienced qualified lawyer with at least 7 years’ PQE working in a well-regarded firm and holds or is entitled to hold a current NZ legal practicing certificate
• Proven experience across residential and commercial conveyancing, leasing, and developments
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients and colleagues
• A solutions-driven, pragmatic mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities
• A collaborative, positive attitude and genuine commitment to delivering excellent service
