Senior Art Director (m/f/d) - Brand & Digital Design

Do you think in strong visual concepts and transform complex brand challenges into compelling design solutions? As Senior Art Director, you will lead creative projects from the initial idea to final implementation and sustainably shape the visual identity of our clients.

Responsibilities

This is what you will do specifically:

• You develop holistic brand identity concepts and corporate design systems for B2B and B2C clients
• You conceive and design cross-media campaigns for print, digital, and social media
• You independently manage 4-6 design projects in parallel (from rebranding to product launch)
• You confidently present your concepts to clients and stakeholder groups
• You lead junior designers and ensure consistent quality standards within the team
• You work closely with account management, copywriters, and development
• You strategically develop existing client brands and optimize their market fit
• You create style guides, brand guidelines, and design systems for various touchpoints

Qualifications

Must-have Skills:

• 5 years of agency experience as Art Director or Senior Designer with proven success
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
• In-depth experience in corporate design, brand identity, and logo development
• Strong portfolio with cross-media campaigns and brand projects
• Understanding of digital design requirements (UI/UX basics, responsive design)
• Experience in mentoring and leading junior designers
• Presentation confidence and C-level client communication

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Knowledge of Figma, Sketch, or other UI/UX tools
• Experience with motion design and video content
• Basic understanding of web development (HTML/CSS basics)
• Print production know-how and prepress
• Packaging design experience
• 3D design skills (Cinema 4D, Blender)
