About the Role
The Building Systems Team develops the GROPYUS building system and enables project implementation by connecting physical and digital products and processes.
The Architecture & Interior Design Team within the BST consists of architects, interior designers, and experts in BIM and parametric design. As part of this team, you will be involved in product development, the value chain, and the development processes of construction projects - in close collaboration with the other teams in the BST (Production Data, Integrated Engineering, and Building Technologies) as well as with other departments at Gropyus.
About the Position
- Project development in Service Phase LP5
- Implementation of state-of-the-art architectural and technical solutions in our timber residential building product
- Continuous and controlled further development of the product within the scope of series and change management
- Coordination with specialist disciplines such as engineering, MEP, building physics, acoustics, fire protection, and energy design
- Contribution to the improvement of our digital value chain in close cooperation with the product and technology teams
- Design considering user-centricity, DfMA, sustainability, and costs
About You
Minimum Requirements
- Project experience in technical detail development/LP5 in Germany (min. 3 years) with a focus on technical detail development (esp. building envelope and structure)
- Knowledge of relevant German building regulations and standards
- Experience in timber construction
- Experience with Building Classes 4 and/or 5
- Fluent German and English skills
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in residential construction
- Experience with Revit
- Experience with AutoCAD; and knowledge of Rhino are advantageous
