Senior Application Developer Java – Payment Transactions (100%)

Do you want to actively further develop business-critical applications in payment transactions? As a Senior Application Developer, you will contribute your Java skills to continuously optimize and reliably operate the EBICS, SWIFT, and MBCLT solutions. You will work closely with IT and business specialists in an agile Scrum team and actively shape the further development of the application landscape.

Main Tasks:

• Independent implementation of features and stories in the Scrum team

• Developing business understanding of the requirements to be implemented in collaboration with the business departments

• Carrying out technical conception, analysis, and design of banking-specific requirements

• Developing backend components in Java/Spring and frontend components in Angular according to specifications and guidelines

• Taking responsibility for the deliverables to be developed regarding quality and deadlines

• Participating in the implementation of requirements related to projects such as SWIFT and EBICS in payment transactions

• Independent support of 2nd level support and incident management within the agreed working hours

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as a Senior Developer or higher in Java with Spring as well as in Angular

• Independent implementation of features and stories in the team. Developing the business understanding of the requirements to be implemented

• Very good knowledge of relational databases and SQL (Oracle and PostgreSQL)

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Very good German and English skills are mandatory

• Work location: On-site at the customer in Zurich
