Your mission:

• BUILDING, OPERATING, AND DEVELOPING A SCALABLE ETL-AND DATA INFRASTRUCTURE (DWH, DATA LAKE)
• MANAGING THE ANALYTICS LAYER AND ENSURING DATA QUALITY AND CONSISTENCY
• SUPPORTING DEPARTMENTS IN DATA ANALYSIS AND BI APPLICATIONS
• DOCUMENTATION, TRAINING, AND ENABLEMENT OF OTHER TEAMS FOR USING THE DATA PLATFORM
• ENSURING THAT DATA IS EFFICIENTLY MADE AVAILABLE FOR AI APPLICATIONS
• EVALUATING AND IMPLEMENTING SUITABLE OPEN-SOURCE TOOLS FOR OUR DATA-AND ANALYTICS ARCHITECTURE
• TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR SECURITY, MONITORING, AND PERFORMANCE OF THE ENTIRE STACK

Your profile:

• MULTI-YEAR EXPERIENCE IN BUILDING AND OPERATING ETL STREAMS AS WELL AS DATA WAREHOUSES AND/OR DATA LAKES
• FUNDAMENTAL KNOWLEDGE IN HANDLING RELEVANT TOOLS IN THE DATA ENGINEERING/ANALYTICS FIELD (E.G. AIRFLOW, DBT, POSTGRESQL, PRESTO/TRINO, SPARK, KAFKA)
• ABILITY TO MANAGE A COMPLETE DATA STACK INDEPENDENTLY (FROM DATA INTEGRATION TO ANALYTICS LAYER)
• EXPERIENCE IN DATA ANALYSIS AND ENABLING DEPARTMENTS TO PERFORM SELF-SUFFICIENT ANALYSES
• EXPERIENCE IN PROVIDING DATA FOR AI-DRIVEN ANALYTICS APPLICATIONS
• VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH
