We are looking for you! Join our expansion - Start as Senior Analytics Engineer (m/w/d) at the earliest possible time. We are seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer who will build up and maintain our data infrastructure, enable data analysis, and anchor knowledge in the company.

Your tasks:

  • BUILD, OPERATE, AND DEVELOP A SCALABLE ETL-AND DATA INFRASTRUCTURE (DWH, DATA LAKE)
  • MANAGE THE ANALYTICS LAYER AND ENSURE DATA QUALITY AND CONSISTENCY
  • SUPPORT DEPARTMENTS IN DATA ANALYSIS AND BI APPLICATIONS
  • DOCUMENTATION, TRAINING, AND ENABLEMENT OF OTHER TEAMS TO USE THE DATA PLATFORM
  • ENSURING THAT DATA IS EFFICIENTLY AVAILABLE FOR AI APPLICATIONS
  • EVALUATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SUITABLE OPEN-SOURCE TOOLS FOR OUR DATA-AND ANALYTICS ARCHITECTURE
  • RESPONSIBILITY FOR SECURITY, MONITORING, AND PERFORMANCE OF THE ENTIRE STACK

Your profile:

  • MULTI-YEAR EXPERIENCE IN BUILDING AND OPERATING ETL-TRACKS AS WELL AS DATA WAREHOUSES AND/OR DATA LAKES
  • FUNDAMENTAL KNOWLEDGE OF RELEVANT TOOLS IN THE DATA ENGINEERING/ANALYTICS FIELD (E.G. AIRFLOW, DBT, POSTGRESQL, PRESTO/TRINO, SPARK, KAFKA)
  • AABILITY TO MANAGE A COMPLETE DATA STACK INDEPENDENTLY (FROM DATA INTEGRATION TO ANALYTICS LAYER)
  • EXPERIENCE IN DATA ANALYSIS AND ENABLING DEPARTMENTS TO PERFORM SELF-SERVICE ANALYSES
  • EXPERIENCE IN PROVIDING DATA FOR AI-GUIDED ANALYTICS APPLICATIONS
  • VERY GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH

Bonus:

  • KNOWLEDGE OF MACHINE LEARNING, NLP OR GENERATIVE KI-TOOLS
  • EXPERIENCE IN DATA GOVERNANCE, SECURITY, AND COMPLIANCE IN THE ON-PREMISE ENVIRONMENT
  • EXPERIENCE IN BUILDING SELF-SERVICE ANALYTICS PLATFORMS
  • EXPERIENCES WITH VISUALIZATION TOOLS (E.G. METABASE, SUPERSER, GRAFANA)
  • FUNDAMENTAL UNDERSTANDING OF DEVOPS PRACTICES (CI/CD, AUTOMATION, MONITORING)
