We are looking for a Senior Analyst, Security Threats and Risks who will be responsible for providing expert analysis on security threats and risks to the aviation sector. This role is critical in helping us identify and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring the safety and security of New Zealand’s skies. Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert analysis on security threats and risks to the aviation sector • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of security threats and risks to the aviation sector • Identify and assess potential security risks and develop strategies for mitigation • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Authority to ensure effective risk management • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in security threats and risks to the aviation sector. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., security, risk management, or a related discipline) • 5+ years of experience in a role providing expert analysis on security threats and risks • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Familiarity with aviation security regulations and standards (e.g., ICAO, TSA) • Certification or training in a relevant field (e.g., security, risk management) is desirable.
