About the team Deloitte’s Controls Assurance team advises some of Australia’s leading organisations on the design, implementation and testing of internal controls. We work with clients to improve business processes, mitigate risk and improve the effectiveness of their operations. Our team comprises experts in Internal Controls, IT Audit, IT Security and Risk Management, and we are passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes. About the role As a Senior Analyst or Manager in our team, you will: * Work on a variety of projects, including internal controls design, implementation, and testing, as well as IT audit and IT security reviews. * Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and identify areas for improvement. * Develop and execute test plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls. * Prepare reports and present findings to clients. * Manage and mentor junior team members. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices. What you’ll bring * A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, information technology, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in internal controls, IT audit, or IT security. * Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT). * Experience with risk assessment and control testing. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
