Senior Analyst Controlling / Plant Controlling (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced professional to support a international industrial customer in Hamburg as part of the Temporary Agency Work. The position is initially set up for approximately 5-6 months. As a permanent position will be filled afterwards, there is generally the possibility of later takeover. However, the client is also seeking candidates for a fixed-term position. We are therefore explicitly looking for candidates who are available short-term and willing to actively participate in temporary agency work.

Aufgaben

• Finance Business Partnering for the Operations or Production department
• Analyzing production deviations, cost developments, and efficiency key figures
• Preliminary preparation and moderation of regular performance reviews including root cause analysis and follow-up measures
• Supporting initiatives to increase margins and productivity
• Responsibility for product-specific calculations and Product Costing according to IFRS
• Identifying relevant cost drivers in bill of materials, work plans, and routings
• Conducting cost center controlling in the manufacturing environment
• Collaboration on budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning for Operations, Investments, and Headcount
• Analyzing and commenting on monthly reporting, as well as supporting the month-end closing
• Further development and optimization of existing reporting processes
• Facilitating guidance to students in the context of closing and budgeting processes

Qualifikation

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in Operations Controlling, Plant Controlling, Production Controlling or inventory-related accounting
• Very good knowledge of cost accounting, product costing and production-related KPIs
• Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA in the Controlling/Costing environment
• Necessary experience in product costing is explicitly required
• Very good Excel and modeling skills
• Safe handling of month-end closing, forecasting, budgeting and reporting
• Analytical strength, structured working style and high data/process relevance
• Hands-on mentality and pragmatic work style
• Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
• Will to participate in temporary agency work
